Total E&P Indonesie at The Indogas Conference & Exhibition

Total E&P Indonesie participated in the 7th International Indonesia Gas Conference & Exhibition that was held from January 27 to 29, 2015 at the Jakarta Convention Center, Indonesia.

The event was officially opened by I Gusti Nyoman Wiratmadja, acting Director General of Oil & Gas, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, and attended by Yenni Andayani, Chairman of the Steering Committee IndoGas 2015/New & Renewable Energy Director of PT Pertamina, Salis Aprilian, Chairman of the Program Committee of IndoGAS 2015, Dwi Soetjipto, President, Director & CEO of PT Pertamina (Persero), Amien Sunaryadi, Chairman of SKK Migas and Jerome Ferrier, President of the International Gas Union (IGU), who was from the Total Group. Before the opening ceremony, there was Gas Sale Purchase Agreement signing ceremony between Medco, PHE, Energi Mega Persada, Kufpec Indonesia, Mura, Pertamina (Persero), VICO Indonesia, Petroselat Ltd., ConocoPhillips, Husky-CNOOC Madura Ltd., PT PLN (persero), PT Energasindo Heksa Karya and PT Petrokimia Gresik.

The IndoGas 2015 Conference was attended by 200 executives & professional participants coming from national and multinational gas companies with the purpose to discussing the possibilities and challenges in developing Indonesia’s natural gas potential. The discussion itself was focused on the 3-day conference which involved the Presidents & CEOs of various gas producers, contractors, and prominent government officials, with 50 speakers and 10 countries represented.

On the conference day 1, to demonstrate TEPI’s contribution as the largest gas producer in the country, Hardy Pramono, President & General Manager of Total E&P Indonesie, delivered presentation entitled “Answering Indonesia’s Energy Needs” during CEO Panel Discussion. The next day, the Head of the Commercial Division, Jean Francois Hery, delivered a presentation on the “Upstream Perspective on Indonesia Gas Supply Demand” during the Panel Discussion.

Apart from its involvement in the conference, TEPI also takes part in raising social awareness of the production and distribution of natural gas as well as the whole operation and company values through the digital posters that were displayed at the booth. The 72-m2 booth was manned by TEPI Ambassador and Entity Representatives, especially from the Commercial Division. The booth was visited by general public, university students as well as stakeholders, who were given brief presentations regarding TEPI’s contribution on gas production, Mahakam operation, HSE, HR Development, Societal, TIF and Awango.
